Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements by the 15th of the month.
  • Process payroll, accounts payable/accounts receivable.
  • Prepare checks and pay invoices in a timely manner.
  • Balance checking accounts.
  • Maintain general ledger.
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly.
  • Enter purchase orders and inventory numbers in Peachtree.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Various accounting and administrative support related functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Peachtree.
  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Customer service oriented and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration helpful but not necessary.

Experience:

  • 1 to 5 years preferred.
